Experiencing God: Part 3 of 4

Experiencing-God-ClimberTo illustrate the process of understanding That I Am and knowing God with more intimacy, imagine a climber climbing a mountain. He is going up the mountain with an objective, and his objective is to have an experience as he reaches the top. He may not even be aware of the fact that he is moving toward the enlightenment of the crown, or the house of God. He may not even be aware that he is seeing the vast plain and what the implications of that plain and crown are, because he is immersed with an inner objective of feeling, and he is truly experiencing God. He is so caught in the feeling of being in the presence of God that he desires to struggle, and he struggles against almost insurmountable odds to reach the highest point. He is knowingly trying to reach the place of the outer sun of Atum and McNaughton, the sun of the God of Egypt who is the eternal, but then there’s the inner sense of the manifestation of that he is, which is a deeper question and is the place where a new level of intimacy with God is found.
